I wrote the patent and executed all of the drawings for this invention, which sadly, was too similar to a couple of existing patents (in that you could combine two other ideas to get this one) and was not accepted by the USPTO. The invention might still work, however, and of course I learned how to write a patent and create the drawings correctly, so it was not a bad project overall.

Ed, that is pretty awesome. I've never see anything like that. Looks like it would be expensive to build and ultimately buy. Who makes these similar devices that prevented you from patenting it? I can't find anything at all like it.
